Max Pacioretty had a slow start to the season which wasn’t helped with an injury. Lately however, he’s managed to turn things around which comes at a critical time since the Canadiens were going through a goal-scoring drought. Pacioretty has five goals in his last three games, bringing his season total to seven. Tyler Ennis’ nine points (four goals and five assists) have him second in points on the low-scoring Buffalo Sabres team so far this season. Although scoring is difficult, Ennis had managed three points in three consecutive games before being held pointless in his last game.
