MONTREAL, QC. — Winning a pair of season tickets to Canadiens’ home games would be a dream come true for most Habs fans. It’s pretty great to think that that dream could be a reality with a local charity raffle. The Just for Kids foundation, benefiting the Montreal Children’s Hospital, is holding a donation drive for 2013-2014 called “Take Heart.” Their fundraising this year will benefit the Cardiology department, purchasing much-needed new equipment for the Children’s hospital at its current location, as well as the new hospital currently under construction at Glen Campus, set to open in summer 2015.
As part of their fundraising work, the Just for Kids foundation is holding a raffle, and the grand prize is a pair of season tickets for the Canadiens’ 2014-2015 season. It gets better – that pair of seats is located in the reds, with a pretty good view of Carey Price’s net. The second prize is $500, and the third prize is an autographed P.K. Subban jersey. Those all sound like pretty great prizes, and with a limit of 1000 tickets being sold, the odds of winning aren’t so bad.
Tickets cost $100 and can be purchased online here or by calling the Just for Kids Foundation at (514) 989-7673. If $100 is out of your price range, consider sharing the cost of one raffle ticket with friends or family members. If you win, you can share your prizes – after all, those season tickets will get you into dozens of Habs games.
The drawing will take place on June 18th at the Club de Golf Laval-sur-le-Lac, 150 rue des Peupliers, Laval.
