MONTREAL – The Montreal Canadiens announced today that forward Aaron Palushaj has been assigned to the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs.

In 15 games with the Canadiens this season, Palushaj recorded seven shots on goal, four blocked shots and 11 hits, while averaging 6:36 of ice time per game.

Recalled from the Bulldogs for the second time this season on November 9, the 22-year old forward totals eight points (1 goal and 7 assists) in seven games with Hamilton this season. One of his goals was scored on the powerplay. Palushaj added 20 shots on goal.

A native of Livonia, Michigan, Palushaj was acquired from the St. Louis Blues in return for Matt D’Agostini on March 3, 2010.
