Gabriel Dumont assigned to Hamilton

MONTRÉAL — The Montreal Canadiens announced Tuesday that forward Gabriel Dumont has been assigned to the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs. The 21-year old centreman played in four of the team’s six preseason games.

There are still 39 players at camp, including eleven players sidelined due to injuries: Andrei Markov, Travis Moen, Hunter Bishop, David Desharnais, Brendon Nash, Lars Eller, Olivier Fortier, Louis Leblanc, Joonas Nattinen, Ryan White and Ian Schultz.
