- Roster news – Juraj Slafkovsky participated in the NHLPA Rookie Showcase. Canadiens signed Kirby Dach to a four-year, $13.45 million contract. Kent Hughes confirmed that Carey Price will be placed on the offseason long-term injured reserve list. Canadiens signed Cayden Primeau to a three-year, one-way contract extension worth $2.67 million. Jonathan Drouin will wear sweater number 27 for the upcoming season.
