MONTREAL, QC. — On Friday, the Montreal Canadiens announced that free agent forward Nick Cousins had been signed to a one-year, one-way contract with an average annual value of one million dollars.
Last season, the 25-year-old registered seven goals, 20 assists for 27 points in 81 games with the Arizona Coyotes.
The five-foot-11-inch, 185 pound center has 31 goals, 42 assists for 73 points in 259 NHL games the Philadelphia Flyers and Arizona Coyotes.
Cousins was drafted in the third round (68th overall) in the 2011 NHL Entry draft by the Philadelphia Flyers.
