The Canadiens’ first pick in last June’s draft, Danny Kristo is missing the first week of school in order to take part in the rookie camp and make his first strides on the Bell Centre ice.“It’s really cool being here,” admitted Kristo, who showed off his incredible acceleration, despite the ice not being at its best. “This is the first time I’m at a camp like this and I want to learn as much as I can and just get better every day. I gained some weight this summer, which should help my progress.”
