After last year’s Calder Cup Championship season, many of the Bulldogs players were full of compliments about how well Ajay Baines handled the locker room especially with a lot of young players on the roster.. He was the unofficial captain of the Bulldogs (there was no captaincy assigned last year) last year and will now be relied upon to guide an even younger group to another Calder Cup Championship.
