Hamrlik Out With The Flu, Carbonneau Sticks With Same Forward Lines

TSN:

Cristobal Huet makes his 13th straight start (8-3-1 during that stretch). Roman Hamrlik got sent home and sick with the flu. He is out tonight. Carey Price returns to Montreal to backup Huet. He was 6-4 with a 2.69 GAA and .896 SVP in his Hamilton stint, but allowed one goal on 46 shots in two games last weekend. With Toronto on tap on Thursday, Guy Carbonneau says there’s a possibility that Price will get the call (given his 3-0 record against the Leafs), adding they wouldn’t have recalled him if he wasn’t going to play. – TSN

The Senators held a 40 minute team meeting on Monday prior to hitting the ice for the morning skate. No skating at practice was Jason Spezza, Chris Phillips, Luke Richardson, Joe Corvo, Daniel Alfredsson (hip) and Cody Bass (ankle). Earlier in the morning, Alfredsson and Dany Heatley (shoulder) were on the ice. It was Alfredsson’s first skate since injuring his hip on Jan. 29 against the Islanders. Neither Alfredsson or Heatley will play Tuesday night against the Canadiens. Forward Patrick Eaves (neck) was on the ice for his first skate since suffering a neck injury on Jan. 29 against the Lightning. Eaves missed 24 games earlier this year with a separated shoulder. Martin Gerber will start in goal against Montreal on Tuesday. He is 3-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA against the Habs this season and is 7-1 in eight career games with a 2.25 GAA. – TSN
