A Look BackThe Wild conquered the Canadiens having to score just twice as Cam Talbot waltzed to a easy shut-out. It was the seventh time the Habs have been scoreless this season. Carey Price has been outstanding in his return posting a .933 save percentage in this game while making 28 saves on 30 shots. Tyler Pitlick was the only Canadien to find the back of the net but the goal was called back due to goalie interference by Laurent Dauphin. Game Expectations |
Something has to give. Coming into this game, the Canadiens and the Flyers are each riding six-game losing streaks. And each team has won just twice in the last 10 games. The Canadiens are 2-0-0 against the Flyers this season, having secured both victories in extra time. On March 13th at the Wells Fargo Center, the Canadiens scored a shorthanded goal to tie the game in the final minute and then won it on a Cole Caufield overtime goal.
Bottom LineThe regular season is in the rear-view mirror as five games remain. The Canadiens job is to help get a win for their star netminder who has been providing the elite level of goaltender that they have been missing all season.
