WINNIPEG, MB. — Most people could tell you about that one trip or that one experience that they will remember for a lifetime. Mine began with a tweet…
@All_Habs I want #NHLDraft tix…bc, well, it's the draft! Throw in some plane tix too? #jk #notreally #AllHabs

I’m a small town girl from southwestern Ontario who recently moved to the city of Winnipeg. Oh, and I’m also a huge Montreal Canadiens fan. When I saw that All Habs Hockey Magazine was running a contest to win tickets to the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, I knew I had to enter. To my amazement, I was one of the few selected to join in on the fun in sunny Philadelphia. My immediate reaction was to invite my friend, and long-time Detroit Red Wings fan, my Dad.
This was a tradition of ours for many years, but once I hit high school, I began to pay more attention to the Eastern Conference. It was the year that Koivu returned to the ice, the year Theo won both the Hart and Vezina, and the year that I fell completely head over heels for the Habs. Much to my Dad’s dismay, I was hooked.
I am excited to announce that both my Dad and I will be making the trek to Philadelphia for this year’s draft, sporting our Montreal and Detroit jerseys with pride. Dad and I can no longer watch the game together on Saturday nights, but thanks to the All Habs team, we are going to be able to enjoy one of the greatest events the NHL has to offer, and make some new memories along the way.
