On this day in hockey history… 1952 — Bill Cook, Dickie Boon, Frank “Moose” Goheen, Ernie Johnson, and Mickey MacKay were all inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. 1982 — Philadelphia traded Ken Linseman, Greg Adams, a first-round draft pick, and a third-round pick in to Hartford in exchange for Mark Howe, and a third-round pick. 1988 — The Rangers signed Guy Lafleur.
