► The two Alex’s?
- In conference call on Friday to speaking about his newly-signed contract and the negotiation process, Alex Galchenyuk revealed an interest in a possible linemate for the upcoming season. Galchenyuk said, “I would definitely love to play with him [Alexander Semin]. He’s a skilled player and over the years he has shown that he can score a lot of goals.”
- Who do you think would compliment the two forwards? Tomas Plekanec? Lars Eller? Max Pacioretty?
@Snakebite350 @All_Habs Galchenyuk, Syomin and whoever wants to join the ride, can rejuvenate both Alex's.

► Last chance to visit Canadiens Hall of Fame
- The Canadiens organization announced Friday that they will be closing the Montreal Canadiens Hall of Fame on August 30, 2015. The change is being made as part of major renovations at the Bell Centre.
- “In the coming months, as the real estate development projects around the Bell Centre move forward, we will be in a position to proceed with a number of new initiatives, including the redeployment of Centennial Plaza. This beautiful new site will serve as a permanent gathering place for years to come that celebrates the history of our team, from its greatest legends to its unforgettable conquests and unparalleled legacy. The Hall of Fame will close in order to offer new amenities to fans and clients during games, though we will be redistributing certain of its displays and assets throughout the building so that they can continue to be enjoyed. For those who have never visited the Hall, we invite them through the end of the month to experience it at no cost.” — Kevin Gilmore, Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer, Montreal Canadiens
