All Habs Headlines: Monday October 12, 2015  |  Happy Thanksgiving!

On this day in hockey history 1963 — Former Canadiens’ goalie Jacques Plante returned to the Montreal Forum for the first time as a member of the Rangers. The Habs beat the Rangers 6-2.  1978 — Ulf Nilsson and Anders Hedberg played in their first NHL game, a 3-3 Rangers’ tie against the Flyers, at Madison Square Garden.  1992 — Pavel Bure scored four goals and added an assist to lead the Canucks to an 8-1 win over the Winnipeg Jets, in Vancouver. Bure scored his first NHL hat trick in the second period, and finished with two shorthanded goals in the game.
