► Laval Bound
- Nikita Scherbak has been assigned to the Laval Rocket. This signifies his imminent return from his right knee surgery.
- Head Coach Sylvain Lefebvre confirmed this assumption when he stated he expected Scherbak to be able to play for the Rocket before Christmas.
Canadiens assigned forward Nikita Scherbak to the AHL's Laval Rocket. Scherbak missed the last 21 games due to a knee injury suffered on October 26.
