Joint Press-Conference, Gary Bettman & Donald Fehr [VIDEO]

LONGUEUIL, QC. — Earlier this morning, the NHL and NHLPA came to a tentative agreement on the framework of a new collective bargaining agreement. It’s Over, The Lockout is Finally Over.

If you were not aware that Gary Bettman, Donald Fehr, their respective troops and mediator Scot Beckenbaugh had spent the better part of 16 straight hours hammering out this deal, you can sure tell by watching this video.

Both Bettman and Fehr appear to be casting for a walker role in the this season’s The Walking Dead series. Also, what ever happened to the podium?

The deal, agreed to at approximately 4:40 a.m., was announced jointly by NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman and NHLPA Executive Director Donald Fehr in the same hotel conference room where the negotiations were conducted with the assistance of Scot Beckenbaugh, Deputy Director for Mediation Services for the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service. – NHL.com
