MONTREAL – The Montreal Canadiens will pay tribute to defenseman Guy Lapointe at an on-ice jersey retirement ceremony on November 8 as the Minnesota Wild will be at the Bell Centre for a regular season match-up.
Guy Lapointe will become the 18th player in franchise history to have his jersey raised to the Bell Centre rafters alongside those of the club’s greatest legends. Over the years, the organization has honoured 17 of its brightest stars for their accomplishments and overall contribution to the team’s success.
