Pacioretty was selected four times as the first star of the game (on February 6 against Vancouver, on March 1 versus Toronto, on March 22 at Toronto and on March 29 at Florida). Pacioretty finished ahead of teammates Carey Price and Thomas Vanek.

The 25-year old left winger recorded 21 points (12 goals, 9 assists) and a +6 differential in 22 games in February and March. During that span Pacioretty led the team in goals, powerplay goals (3) and winning tallies (4). He registered his third NHL career hat trick on February 6 against the Vancouver Canucks.

In 2013-14, the Molson Cup scoring system awards three points for a first star selection, two points for a second star selection and a single point for a third star selection.
