CBC PRESENTS NHL REVEALED: A SEASON LIKE NO OTHER, fuelled by Gatorade
Get ready for the most comprehensive behind the scenes look at your favourite NHL teams and players
January 22, 2014 – CBC is excited to give NHL fans an exceptional behind-the-scenes look at their favourite hockey players. As a partner with the NHL, NHLPA and NBC, CBC will broadcast the Canadian premiere of NHL Revealed: A Season Like No Other on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 9 p.m. (9:30 NT). The seven-part series gives viewers an all-access pass into the lives of some of the biggest stars in the NHL on and off the ice.
NHL Revealed will document the lives of more than two dozen of the top hockey players as well as capture the rivalries and personalities of nine NHL teams. Some of the players the cameras are expected to follow are: Sidney Crosby (Pittsburgh Penguins); Jonathan Toews (Chicago Blackhawks); Patrick Kane (Chicago Blackhawks); Henrik Sedin (Vancouver Canucks); Daniel Sedin (Vancouver Canucks); Henrik Lundqvist (New York Rangers); Jonathan Quick (Los Angeles Kings); and John Tavares (New York Islanders).
The documentary series will feature exclusive coverage of the four 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ games, men’s hockey at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games and the Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic™ game in Vancouver.
