MONTREAL, QUE. – Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs general manager Marc Bergevin announced today the Canadiens have recalled forward Sven Andrighetto from the Bulldogs.
In 21 games with Hamilton this season, the 21-year-old has recorded 18 points (nine goals, nine assists) and 16 penalty minutes. In 85 career American Hockey League regular season games with the Bulldogs, the Zurich, Switzerland native has recorded 62 points (26 goals, 36 assists) and 56 penalty minutes.
The 5-9, 186-pound forward was selected by the Canadiens in the third round (86th overall) in the 2013 National Hockey League Entry Draft.
The Bulldogs will be back in action today when they’ll visit the Toronto Marlies at Ricoh Coliseum at 5 p.m. The ‘Dogs will return home on Sunday, Dec. 7 when they’ll host the Texas Stars at FirstOntario Centre at 3 p.m.
