Close to 50 players are expected to participate in the development camp. Amongst the list of the 30 players already confirmed will be Canadiens’ first round selections; Nathan Beaulieu (2011), Jarred Tinordi (2010) and Louis Leblanc (2009), as well as several other players drafted by the organization.

The list of participants will be completed with players selected by the Canadiens at the 2013 NHL Entry Draft to take place on Sunday, June 30 at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, and several players invited as try-outs. A complete list will be released on July 2.

All players will participate in a first off-ice training session on the Bell Sports Complex soccer field on Wednesday, July 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The first on-ice practice session will also be on July 3, starting at 4:30 p.m. On-ice practice sessions (3 groups) will take place in the morning for the reminder of the camp, with scrimmages at the end of the day. A 2-team intrasquad game (3 periods) will be presented on Sunday, July 7, at 9:30 a.m. All practices are open to the public.

Players participating in the Canadiens development camp will be available to the media every day around noon (12 p.m.), starting on July 3.
