Habs’ Players in Action

MONTREAL, QC. — It all comes down to this: Olympic gold. Team Sweden and Team Canada. Our own Carey Price was perfect against the Americans on Friday, as millions tuned in to see if Canada would move on. The Swedes have been a force since the beginning of the tournament, but somehow eluded several people’s idea of a dream final. The rematch of the 2010 final was over and (nervously) done with, and the host Russians lost seemingly forever ago to the eventual bronze-winning Finns…

This leaves the only other team to win Olympic gold since the start of the millennium.

Said Price: “There’s a lot of winners in that locker room and they all know how to play in tough situations, and be comfortable being uncomfortable.”

The game gets underway at 7:30 a.m. EST. It will be an early start for many, but that doesn’t mean fewer people will be watching.
