 Game Recap:

It was closer than anyone expected but once again, a Canadian defenseman provided the offence when needed to propel Canada to a semi-final match with the Americans. Shea Weber scored a third period power-play goal with just under seven minutes left. Canada peppered Latvian goalie Kristers Gudlevskis with 57 shots but still failed to capitalize on second chance opportunities.
