Before the trade deadline, there was a poll asking you to predict the Habs’ regular season scoring winner. Here’s the question, and the results:
At regular season’s end, who will have the most points on the Canadiens roster?
Andrei Kostitsyn (11%)
Alex Kovalev (26%)
Andrei Markov (42%)
A player acquired at the deadline (19%)
More than 40% chose Andrei Markov. Let’s agree that Mathieu Schneider is the unnamed player acquired at the deadline (with apologies to Glen Metropolit).

A late season points surge for Alex Kovalev combined with an injury to Andrei Markov, allowed Kovalev to take the top spot this season, even though he was only chosen by 26% of All Habs readers.
