Post-game Chatter |
Coach Michel Therrien:
- On Tinordi’s hitting Staal, Ruutu and Dwyer: “It’s always good team building when you see a physical presence on the ice. They were solid hits. Definitely it’s a plus for our hockey team.”
- “This is a fine line. [Tinordi] got caught so he’s got to learn. But, it’s always better to hold some guys rather than push some guys. He’s gotta read at the time when to throw the big hits.”
- “I can’t judge the game by the results. We saw a lot of good things. Except in the second period we lost our focus and our composure and it turned against us. I liked the way we started the game and the way we played the third period.”
- “We had a young lineup tonight. Some of the kids did good.”
- “For a first game, like Plekanec, Bourque, Markov, I thought those guys did good. We’ll see if we try the experiment again with Danny Briere there [on Plekanec’s line.]
