Puck the Bunny appears on All Habs Hockey Magazine predicting outcomes of Canadiens games. Puck, the Brazilian prognosticating bunny, is now in Canada. In his first three seasons as a member of the All Habs team, Puck’s record was an amazing 77-40-18!
TORONTO, ON – What a game! Habs Assistant Captains were ON FIRE! Max Pacioretty’s first shot on goal was a GOAL! It was beautiful to watch the Canadiens scoring the first goal of the season on the Maple Leafs. The bunny admits that Brandon Kozun scared him a little bit. Fine, the Leafs may have one new good player, but Habs have better ones. The Leafs scored twice in the first period, but Carey Price was not to blame. In fact, the little ball of fur is really happy that his favourite goalie is feeling 100 per cent and was making some amazing saves.
Puck was a little disappointed with Habs on the first period, but WOW after the first intermission it was another team that hit the ice. Thomas Plekanec’s line is amazing, the bunny can’t wait to see how many goals they will have at the end of the season, two goals in the first game. The Habs lost a LOT of good opportunities in the second, especially David Desharnais. The bunny sends a message to DD “Don’t worry! You will score soon! Just shoot the puck at the net!”
It was nice to see Habs keeping up their good play in the third period. And this period was P.K. Subban turn to put a puck on the net and what a goal! Puck’s favourite part was P.K.’s celebration! It makes Blue Leafs fans angry and the little ball of fur loves to see them get mad.
The team still needs to work on the defence . The positive side is that they are scoring beautiful goals. Let’s hope they keep doing that for the entire season. Price is amazing, but he can not stop all the pucks alone. But the team is going into the right path and that makes Puck happy.
On Thursday the Habs will face the Capitals, not an easy opponent. The game is going to be a great test for the Habs defence.
