Post-game Press Conference |
- “[Ryan White] is playing well since he’s back but I was liking the way he played before too. He’s a young player that matured. For me, he’s improved. At times we give him missions for faceoffs. He takes responsibility 5-on-5 and we are glad that he was able to score his first goal, well-deserved. Like last game he went around the net and again tonight. He brings energy to the team. Good performance again from him.”
- “We’ll see (if Michael Bournival will be at practice tomorrow.) I haven’t heard anything yet. (It’s an) upper-body (injury.)”
- “Tonight [Max Pacioretty] was quick on puck, did a lot of good things. There’s a good chemistry with that line. Tonight they were really good.”
- “We’ve got back to the team concept. We’re focusing on the way we’re supposed to play. I don’t mind facing adversity, the club facing adversity, it’s how you’re going to respond. I think that a lot of players showed a lot of good leadership. We were able to respond the right way.”
- “I like the way that [the fourth line] is playing. We have a good balance with our forwards.”
Canucks head coach John Tortorella
- “All we can do is continue working at this and earn some good bounces. We aren’t hanging our heads.”
