COMMUNITY INVITED TO SECOND ANNUAL BULLDOGS FOUNDATION WALK-A-THON ON SUNDAY, JUNE 22ND

HAMILTON, ONTARIO – Hamilton Bulldogs President and Bulldogs Foundation Board of Directors Member Stephen Ostaszewicz announced today the community is invited to participate in the second annual Bulldogs Foundation Walk-A-Thon, presented by FirstOntario Credit Union, on Sunday, June 22nd at Pier 4 Park, located near 50 Leander Drive in Hamilton.

10246421_10152350271325589_3170557483249118649_nThe Walk-A-Thon is being held in support of the Bulldogs Foundation’s Dawgs Breakfast Program, which supports 17 high-needs Hamilton schools so students can start the day with a healthy and nutritious breakfast.

Registration will start at 7:45 a.m., with the walk beginning at 9:00 a.m. and going until approximately 10:00 a.m. Food and beverages will be available to the walkers following the walk.

For a minimum $20 individual donation or $30 for a family of four, participants will receive a two-for-one ticket voucher, a water bottle and a complimentary breakfast provided by Maple Lodge Farms, PepsiCo and Tim Hortons.

Entrants that collect a minimum of $50 in pledges will be rewarded with a pair of tickets to the Bulldogs 2014-2015 home opener on Friday, October 17th in addition to the prizing for a $20 donation.

Participants who collect at least $125 in pledges will receive four free tickets to a 2014-2015 Hamilton Bulldogs home game, while those who amass a minimum of $250 in pledges will receive a team-autographed stick and four free tickets to a 2014-2015 ‘Dogs home game.

In addition, the individual who raises the most money in pledges will win a 12-person suite for a 2014-2015 Bulldogs home game, including tickets, food and beverages. The person who collects the second-highest dollar amount in pledges will be rewarded with a game-worn, autographed jersey and four tickets to a 2014-2015 game. The walker who earns the third-largest dollar figure in donations will receive a team-autographed helmet and four tickets to a 2014-2015 Bulldogs game.
