- Roster news – Canadiens prospect Otto Leskinen has signed a two-year deal with Frolunda (SHL). Canadiens goaltender Jake Allen is not a finalist for the King Clancy Trophy. Finalists are Ryan Getzlaf (ANA), Darnell Nurse (EDM) and P.K. Subban (NJD). Canadiens goaltender Carey Price was selected as one of the three finalists for the Bill Masterton Trophy.
- Habs prospect report – The Laval Rocket advanced to the North Division final against the Rochester Americans. Canadiens prospect Riley Kidney may join the Laval Rocket for the remainder of the playoffs. Be sure to read the content at AHL.report and check out The Press Zone – Montreal.

The off-season will be a busy one for Jeff Gorton and Kent Hughes. Building a defence corps that provides opportunities for the Canadiens young defencemen while supporting them with experience will be a tough task.
