How can you pass or turn down something you were never offered. Patrick Roy wasn’t even offered the Avalanche job but having the biggest ego in the hockey world (on or off the ice!!!) wouldn’t allow him to be ignored by Colorado……he beat them to the indignity and embarrassment of being ignored or not even being considered for the job.
