I hope John Tavares and his family have done their homework with regards to Mr. Bryan Deasley. Sometimes taking a “newbie” like Deasley as your agent can save you money in the short term because he will likely take a smaller commission to keep a high profile client like Tavares. The flip side is that he doesn’t have as much experience or knowledge as the more established agents do concerning contract negotiations and hockey contacts.
