Video: Carey Price Perfects his Shot

BROSSARD, QC. — Following a 3-2 home loss to Buffalo Sabres, the Montreal Canadiens held an optional practise on Wednesday February 16, 2011 prior to leaving for their 3-game Western road trip.

Goaltending coach Pierre Groulx directed Lars Eller, Tomas Plekanec, and Travis Moen in one-on-one drills on Alex Auld.

At the opposite end of the sheet Roman Hamrlik was skating by himself, circling behind the net and out across the blue-line. Hamrlik was taking laser-guided tape-to-tape passes from Carey Price who was in a white t-shirt standing in the bench gate opening.

Price disappeared to the dressing room and re-emerges once the handful of players cleared the ice. Price was wearing a Habs track suit, non-goalie skates, Mathieu Darche’s gloves and was using a borrowed stick.
