Montreal Canadiens’ fourth rounder Olivier Archambault missed a lot of action last season recovering from a concussion.  Just three games into the 2012-13 schedule, the Drummondville Voltigeurs’ number 9 was on the receiving end of a scary hit from Cédrick Henley of the Val-D’Or Foreurs. Henley was given a major as well as a game misconduct on the play. Earlier tonight, the QMJHL suspended the Foreurs’ captain two additional games.

For his part, Archambault showed he was no worse for wear as he scored the second of two power play goals on the major penalty. Drummondville won the game 4-3.

czechtacular (aka Kathy) is the former follower of a single team, whose interests still are and will always be number one in her book (she is the Managing Editor of All HABS, after all!) but making the jump to junior hockey in 2005 has resulted in, well, quite frankly, a mess that no one will ever be able to understand all at once. A former student of photography, history and communications, she has been to games of the NHL, AHL, QMJHL, CIS, LHJAAAQ, LNAH, and even the NWHL, and definitely doesn't intend on stopping there.
