Effie has been a Habs fan as long as she can remember. She spent many Saturday nights watching Nos Glorieux! She works for Sun Life Financial, and has been there 12 years. She became an All Habs team member after approaching Editor-in-Chief Rick and asking him if there was room for a writer who wrote from a fans perspective, from the heart. He said sure! And here she is.

Anyone who knows her knows that her kids are her life. Effie dreams of one day spending her time sailing the Mediterranean. She loves spending hours at Chapters looking for books, and she loves music, all music. Greek, Rock, Pop, Trance, Reggaeton, Jazz, Blues, Folk, even Opera, she loves it all!
What you must know
She really doesn’t like talking about herself!! Having said that, she sings! She was supposed to perform Stevie Nicks’ Landslide at her corporate Christmas party this past December, but her guitarist up and moved to France!

Effie is very competitive and does NOT like losing! She played catcher for the Sun Life Softball team and was an expert trash talker. Batters didn’t have a chance, she always threw them off their game! HA!
