Defenceman has 13 points in 49 games with ‘Dogs this season

MONTREAL, QUE. – Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs general manager Marc Bergevin announced today the Canadiens have recalled defenceman Greg Pateryn from the Bulldogs.
In 49 games with Hamilton this season, Pateryn has recorded 13 points (two goals, 11 assists) and 56 penalty minutes.
In three career National Hockey League regular season games with the Canadiens, the 6-2, 222-pound defenceman has recorded no points or penalty minutes. In 156 career American Hockey League regular season games with the Bulldogs, the Sterling Heights, Mich. native has recorded 59 points (24 goals, 35 assists) and 150 penalty minutes.
The 24-year-old was originally selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the fifth round (128th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. He was acquired by the Canadiens from the Maple Leafs along with a second-round pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft in exchange for Mikhail Grabovski on July 3, 2008.
