U-M coach Red Berenson said Pacioretty plays a big part in the offensive success that Porter and Kolarik have had this season.
“He helps them by being a physical force,” Berenson said. “He does a lot of work on the forecheck. He digs out loose pucks. He makes good plays. He passes like a pro. He sees the ice well. … He’s able to play at their level.”
