MONTREAL, QC. — The Montreal Canadiens have recalled Dale Weise from the Laval Rocket this morning. Weise was assigned to the Rocket on February 19th last week following three games with the Canadiens. Weise had two goals and a plus-2 rating with the AHL club.
Weise was acquired from the Philadelphia Flyers on February 9th along with Christian Folin in exchange for David Schlemko and Byron Froese.
As a member of the Flyers, Weise scored five goals and 11 points in 42 games in 2018-19. The Winnipeg native has played 484 NHL games in his career scoring 54 goals and 120 points.
