    Chicago Times-Sun (Len Ziehm):

Those on IR are in various stages of recovery. Defenseman Brent Sopel (broken finger) could return tonight. Wingers Martin Havlat and Jason Williams have groin problems, and those can be tricky. Last week, coach Denis Savard said both might play against the Wings, but his optimism has dissipated. Both could be a week away from game duty.
Forwards Dave Bolland (broken finger), Jonathan Toews (sprained knee) and Ben Eager (concussion) aren’t skating and are weeks away from helping. So is defenseman James Wisniewski (strained knee ligaments), but only center Kevyn Adams (knee surgery) is done for the regular season. He hopes he can compete in the playoffs.

    Habster:

It would appear that Carbo’s buddy, Patrice Brisebois will be back in the lineup tonight against the Blackhawks with Mark Streit returning to the forward position where he has excelled, been very effective on the PK and utilizes his speed. He has struggled on defense recently and putting Brisebois back in the lineuo makes sense,,,,,,,for now!!!
The question then becomes: Which forward sits out????……….I hope it’s not Kyle Chipchura who played a solid, gritty game against the Caps but it wouldn’t surprise me.
