Oilers’ Souray out for the season

In hindsight, Bob Gainey made the right decision by not signing Sheldon Souray during the off-season. Oilers ownership can’t be happy with Kevin Lowe’s decision to sign him to the 5 years/$27 million contract.
It still bothers me that Gainey didn’t trade Souray at last year’s trade deadline…….he could have added a solid roster player and a first round pick or prospect in return….as they say “hindsight is 20/20”
