All the hockey experts/analysis (Pierre McGuire included) said this deal would probably happen but nothing has panned out yet and you have to wonder if Darryl Sutter has other, more substantial offers on the table or is waiting for another team to bite (the Flyers?).
There is also the no-movement clause issue that Sutter has to deal with when/if he does deal Alex Tanguay…….Tanguay isn’t exactly endeavored by Montreal and the crazy media frenzy that accompanies playing here (he was very vocal and rightfully critical of the way Saku Koivu has been treated by the french media here: Calgary Sun: Tanguay backs Habs’ Koivu over French flap ).
