Here is a good article by Terry Jones who covered the Edmonton Oilers press conference to introduce Sheldon Souray as their only UFA signing. Souray is all smiles and seems sincerely happy to be playing near his hometown of Elk Point, Alberta. It’s also interesting to see that the Oilers front loaded the contract which is becoming the trend in the NHL(it certainly make a player’s salary more attractive to a trading partner).
