June 9, 2013 – It all comes down to this. The 2013 Stanley Cup Final marks the first time in 34 years that two Original Six teams will battle for hockey’s greatest prize as Jonathan Toews and the Chicago Blackhawks take on Zdeno Chara and the Boston Bruins exclusively in Canada on CBC’S HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA beginning Wednesday, June 12 at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) from Chicago. From the first puck drop to the hoist of the Stanley Cup, live coverage of the entire best-of-seven series is available on CBC-TV and online at CBCSports.ca.
Jim Hughson handles the play-by-play duties from the broadcast booth alongside analyst Craig Simpson (@hnicsimmer) as they call the action for the championship series.
