MONTREAL – The Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation is pleased to host the third edition of its Radio-Telethon on Wednesday March 14 in partnership with rights holders TSN RADIO 990, 98,5 FM and RDS. Presented in collaboration with Activis, Bell and Desjardins, the event aims at supporting the efforts of the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation to provide a brighter and healthier future for children in need, and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle among Quebec youth.
At daybreak, studio hosts from both radio stations will kick off the event by inviting the listeners to make a pledge to the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation and support this very worthy cause. Throughout the day, members of the Montreal Canadiens family and representatives of various organizations that benefited from the Foundation’s support over the years will be on hand during various radio shows on TSN Radio 990 and 98,5 FM. Le Réseau des Sports (RDS) will join the broadcasting at 4 p.m. conducting live interviews from the Bell Centre. Simultaneously, several members of the Canadiens Alumni, player’s spouses as well as members of the club will be working the phones to receive pledges from the general public until the end of the hockey game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Ottawa Senators.
