UFAs Barret Jackman and Bryce Salvador are probably available while RFA Christian Backman could also be available due to his sluggish play of late. I would be open to Salvador being acquired by the Habs to solidify the #5-6 spots but I wouldn’t give up a lot in the exchange (#4-#6 pick and/or a Hamilton Bulldog not named D’Agostini, Valentenko, Carle, Price or Chipchura).
Salvador is a solid defensive defenseman who is leading a young St. Louis Blues team with a +12 rating.
