| The Specs |
- Let’s just say that the Habs have won 10 Stanley Cups since Joce was born, the first captain to raise it over his head in his lifetime is the great Jean Béliveau. His best memories are attached to the 70’s dynasty and his two favourite players at the time were Ken Dryden and… Vladislav Tretiak. Joce was thrilled and hopeful when Serge Savard drafted Tretiak back in the early 80’s. See, he remembers the days when cellphones were stupid and people were smart. Those were the days!

| The Essentials |
- Joce is an outdoors man and loves camping, fishing and site seeing. His biggest catch is a 40 lbs Pacific Salmon caught in Northern BC. Having said that, know that there is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot. He used to hunt and was also a trapper and taxidermist when he was younger, while still living in Quebec. Yes, he likes meat: he didn’t fight his way to the top of the food chain to be a vegetarian. Contrarily to what some say, red meat is not bad for you: fuzzy green meat is bad for you. He practised several sports at a fairly high level, not just hockey. Joce became a goaltender after retiring from minor hockey as a forward. Last but not least, he’s a passionate motorcycle rider and dreams to, one day, finally get his Harley Davidson.

| What you must know |
- Those who know him well can attest that he has a great sense of humour, although one that can cross the line for some people from time to time. He’s a strong believer that if you can’t laugh at yourself, you certainly have no right to laugh at others. His favourite movies are comedies. His favourite shows on TV are also comedies and some of the people he admires the most are comedians, stand-up comics or people with a great sense of humour. Why take life seriously? We won’t come out of it alive! Answering all of this made him realise that he should get a life… where can I download one of those, he asks?

| What you probably didn’t know |
- Fully bilingual and fluent in French and English, Joce was the very first moderator to work on the official Fan Forum of the Montreal Canadiens, and later became an administrator. He did that for about 4-5 years and helped select most of the current (and past) moderators/admins, some of which are still there today. While he did make some good friends, he also pissed off some members as they weren’t allowed to bully their way around. But life is short and Joce fully embraces life regardless of what it brings to us. Although sometimes, he does get the feeling that he’s diagonally parked in a parallel universe. But then he sees a bird fly by and wonders: “If I could fly who would I sh*t on?”
