Somethings never change as far as Sergei Samsonov is concerned and I think Gainey dumping him was a great move (even for the bag of pucks they received in Cullimore and Salmelainen). It’s time for Mr. Samsonov to play in a soft league like the RSL where players like Yashin go to float. Samsonov has played 10 games and has only 2 assists with a -6 rating to show for it.
